Senior Manager of GTM Strategy and Planning

The Role

Outreach is looking for a strategic operator to help navigate Outreach revenue growth. This role will create and run operational strategy, policy, and capabilities to orchestrate Outreach revenue growth. In addition to planning and monitoring the overall sales portfolio and territories, this role will help evaluate future market opportunities, and drive go-to-market evolution through operational partnership and data innovation. This role will also be a key partner to sales management alongside core revenue operations. 

It's key to know that this role is a blend of strategic and operational responsibilities. The preferred candidate is experienced in go-to-market operations or sales strategy, with fluency in market and territory planning, and an ideal candidate mixes this with proven analytical and modeling abilities. This role will manage other members of the GTM strategy and operations team and be a key business partner to the CRO organization. This role will report to the VP of Revenue Strategy, and is West Coast flexible (Seattle or San Francisco Bay Area).

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Develop and implement GTM market strategy to hit revenue targets and market goals
  • Plan, conceive, and manage how the GTM org achieves targets, enters new markets, and adapts to an evolving GTM model through territory and quota planning
  • Partner with revenue managers (Sales and CS) and GTM Finance to understand and optimize yield
  • Collaborate with product and product marketing on new markets and product mixes

  • Oversee account portfolio strategy, process, and operations
  • Drive and execute GTM processes as Outreach matures...Partner with Data Operations and Core Revenue Operations to drive change
  • Drive predictability and create feedback loops that drive revenue velocity

Basic Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of leadership in tech/SaaS sales planning (territory and market) or business operations in a similar capacity, or strategic go-to-market roles
  • 3-5+ years of referenceable sales partnership success in a growth environment
  • Excellent data analyses and modeling skills; experience with Tableau strong plus
  • Thoughtful communicator and organized planner
  • Fluency in data from sales systems or CRMs
  • Thrives in a high-growth environment
  • Loves building and thinks in opportunity
