About You:You are eager to get your foot in the door at a fast paced, rapidly growing startup. You will demonstrate the ability to excel in a dynamic work environment as an early member of a growing team. Your problem solving is flexible, spanning from long term vision to daily operational execution. You are passionate about people and have a demonstrated history of developing and mentoring individuals on your team.

You will have ownership over:

• Strategy: Own vision, strategy and execution for a key Business Operations team at Convoy.
• Fluency with data: Comfortable with numbers and can draw insights and actions from them, unlocking both incremental and large operational improvements
• Communications: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Can clearly communicate goals, issues, and status to all stakeholders and partners; you’ll lead a highly cross-functional team that drives outcomes for multiple teams.
• Team management: Manage, hire and coach a world class team of business strategy and operations specialists and managers; provide structure and necessary processes in ambiguous situations
• Leadership: Serve as a thought leader and trusted partner to the Demand org in defining, tracking, and implementing team objectives, strategy, tactics, and processes that scale
• Influence: You drive effective teamwork, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience
• Demonstrated success as a people manager
• Ability to work independently, think creatively, problem solve and manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a collaborative, start-up environment with changing requirements and priorities.
• Positive “can do” attitude and growth mindset; comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment.
