Sr. Director of IT at Outreach
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- The Sr. Director of IT will be responsible for creating an IT roadmap, plan, and budget to improve IT systems and processes
- Set and monitor processes such that company is compliant with SOX
- Recommend and implement appropriate software, tooling, and/or processes to facilitate company security and compliance needs
- Track company spend on IT tools. Recommend policies and changes to improve cost basis
- Manage complex supplier relationships and multi-million dollar budgets
- Distill technical decisions and ideas into a consumable message while emphasizing the business value at stake
- Exceptional professional judgment to manage confidential data/information
- Proven leadership skills in a highly technical environment
- Understanding of key business processes
- Drive an organizational focus on long term goals despite the temptation of the immediate
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment where team will thrive and grow
Our Vision Of You
- 10-15+ years in IT Management and Support, preferably with SaaS or web-based technology companies
- 5+ years management experience, preferably with teams >10 individuals, including both managers and individual contributors
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent experience
- Strong technical and organizational skills
- Deep expertise in one or more aspects of IT (e.g, systems, help desk, networking, etc.)
- Expert level experience in MacOS and cloud-native environments
- Experience growing teams quickly and efficiently
- You have a demonstrated track record of servant leadership. You care deeply about your people, and their careers.
- You employ a variety of flexible frameworks to manage the deluge of inputs into your organization
- You are personally invested in delivering on your commitments and do not commit to more than you can deliver
- Have more than cursory experience with all aspects of running an IT organization from the technical to the organizational
- You favor open communication with willingness to ask and answer questions
- In a stressful incident, you can guide your response with a sense of calm and purpose
- You bridge the gap between the technical and the non-technical
- You create a balance in a team composed of people with varying personalities and skill sets
