About Brokerage Operations: Brokerage Operations is critical to Convoy's success. The Brokerage Ops team is the bridge between the old way of connecting shippers to carriers (buy low, sell high), and the new way (instantly matching the right truck for each shipment). Brokerage Ops is one of the teams that truly manages both sides of the marketplace at Convoy. We ensure that the freight we take is healthy for marketplace building and then make sure we find the best truck for the job as quickly as possible. They have the ability to sell freight quickly and negotiate effectively, simultaneously introducing the technology that will help trucking companies streamline & scale their business. About Strategic Operations: As Convoy’s business continues to grow, the needs of our shippers and carriers are becoming increasingly complex...and exciting. Living within the Supply Organization, the Strategic Operations team operates cross-functionally across the business through formal partnerships with the Product and Marketplace Growth orgs. Through these partnerships, the team plays an integral role in helping Convoy explore and scale new business initiatives, along with the development of new carrier-facing product features and programs. Scrappy execution, on-the-fly analysis and expert level problem-solving are core parts of the job, and effective collaboration is how we measure our impact.

About Dedication Program: One of the Carrier-facing programs we are currently working on has shown early positive results, and we are looking for a skilled cross-functional operator and problem solver to come in and take it to the next level. An Individual Contributor role that will focus on improving program metrics and facilitating scale, this person will work alongside the corresponding Program and Product managers, Engineers and Data Scientists, along with a small team of Ops Specialists within Strategic Operations. Key components of the job will be creating effective feedback loops with key stakeholders, process improvements that impact metrics and enable scale, facilitating potential experiments and taking ownership over the performance and development of the program.

About You: You thrive in collaborative, solutions-driven environments where your communication and problem-solving skills shine. You are motivated by challenges and see obstacles, both internal and external, as opportunities rather than blockers. When attacking a new problem space, you are comfortable making on-the-fly decisions, providing feedback and insights to stakeholders, and leave a trail of documentation and process improvement in your wake. You hate the idea of merely being a passenger along for the ride, and are eager to put your stamp on a program that has the potential to be the largest and most impactful in Convoy’s history.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, MBA a plus.
• 5+ years experience in logistics, operations, business development, product or data analysis role.
• Management experience with direct reports a plus. 
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative to strategically resolve issues and find efficiencies.
• Strong track record of executional and operational success.
• Strong analytical skills, able to define success using dataComfortable developing tracking and reporting on individual and team metrics.
• Experienced cross-functional leader, adept at stakeholder management and metric alignment.
• Experience working with Product & Engineering organizations a plus.
