OfferUp is seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our IT team. This role is pivotal in managing our current systems and technologies. If you are customer-obsessed and passionate about driving change, this may be for you.

What you will do:

• Design and implement systems to deploy, maintain, & retire organizational owned devices
• Work with IT team on projects from research to implementation
• Provide escalation support for IT Support Specialists on the team
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, software or network issues that affect large groups of users
• Respond to, record, track, and close tickets through service desk/problem management software
• Build & maintain relationships with peers in other departments within the organization

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Deep knowledge in troubleshooting & managing OS X, Windows and Linux
• Demonstrate expert level knowledge and strong experience working with Cloud applications such as Okta, Google G Suite, Atlassian Suite, and PagerDuty
• Strong technical depth including excellent troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of security best practices, network design and troubleshooting
• Experience automating device deployment and administration tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with engineers and executives
• Proven ability to problem-solve and think independently

Education & Experience:

• 5+ years experience in systems administration and/or engineering
• Eligible to work in the United States
