Stripe makes it easy for any developer to access and manage the capabilities of the financial system including global payments while maintaining the least regulatory friction. Our ultimate goal is to maintain the strategy, product attestations, and overall execution required to offer these capabilities globally.

As a technical program manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical future of Stripe’s product attestations by leading cross-functional initiatives that turn Stripe security assessments into a supply chain rather than singular projects. You will be responsible for ensuring Stripe products can ship on-time with the greatest degree of simplicity for our users and engineering teams. Your impact is felt across the company. You spend a significant proportion of your time developing the capabilities of the team as a whole.

You will:

  • Design, scope, and project manage data security assessments as part of a shared product release schedule
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Create roadmaps for initial certification and ongoing operational maintenance
  • Influence peers / managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity
  • Partner with all stakeholders in a program and steer execution from concept to ship
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Identify and/or analyze problems and manage the building of automation to prevent problem recurrence

We’re looking for someone who has/is:

  • 3-5 years as a security program manager, IT audit program manager, or a related discipline
  • Experienced in common security practices and data security regulations
  • Excellent project management skills with a consistent track record of shipping projects/products on time
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships, and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Out-of-the-box thinking to identify and resolve systemic issues
