Job Description
Summary of org: The Renewals team is responsible for ensuring healthy, on time renewals maintaining ServiceNow’s best in class renewal rate as published in our quarterly earnings call. This team is a dedicated go to market team, with senior leaders in each global geography, partnered with the Geo Presidents.
The role: This is an influential role, reporting to the Global SVP of Digital GTM, combining strategic planning, general business management, and project management to drive alignment and performance across the Inside GTM organization.
What you get to do in this role:
- Create structure and focus for broad, ambiguous ideas that the Digital GTM Renewals team requires to land and expand.
- Drive cross-functional process around setting the Digital GTM strategy, forming a plan, executing and monitoring progress
- Partnering with the Global Talent Organization (GTO), help build a successful and healthy organization: design and execute on organizational structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help close them, design optimal workflows, and align internal processes
- Drive the Renewal priorities with the Digital GTM leadership team (direct and matrix reports)
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the annual objectives and coordinate organization-wide goals. Report quarterly accomplishments to the company
Responsibilities:
- Lead GTM Strategy for Renewals Sales function. Renewals organization, at $2b and 65 employees in 2021will increased yet again in FY22 to +/- 80 employees and +/- $2.4b in renewal revenue.
- Develop policies to support the strategy and direction
- Develop plans to ensure successful implementation of strategy and direction for major functional area(s)
- Provides vision, strategy, and direction for multiple major functional areas
- Identify and meet ambitious performance goals, driving for results with a positive impact on Servicenow’s brand and market position on a consistent basis
- Leverage her/his knowledge of the customer’s perspective to anticipate requirements and to tailor competitive solutions
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- BS or BA required; Master’s a plus
- 10-15 Years of proven execution in comparable GTM roles.
- Proven track record of consistent quota attainment and developing clearly defined go-to-market initiatives with key Servicenow sales, marketing, and business unit leaders to achieve revenue goals.
- Possess strong executive presence and the ability to establish trusted relationships with product management, marketing, global sales leadership, professional services and global alliance and channels leaders
- Demonstrated the ability to establish strong executive relationships at the senior-most levels in customer organizations leading to a demonstrable track record of increasing sales and partnership value creation
- Proven ability to influence, build rapport, and gain credibility with both business and technology executives
- Contextual knowledge of the enterprise software market, understand market trends to ensure market share gains for ServiceNow through strategic selling well enough to identify creative business solutions to customer problems, and identify emerging opportunities and maintain effective customer relationships.
