Description
As the Vice President of Information Technology at Blue Nile, you will supervise the planning, creation, implementation, security and maintenance of our information systems and processes. You will set the strategic direction for the information systems, identifying and recommending new technologies, managing information programming, conducting feasibility studies, running systems analyses, and approving hardware and software services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen focus on the employee experience, ensuring a highly efficient, self-service set of capabilities designed to support every part of the organization in being more transparent, predictable, repeatable, and effective.
This role reports directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building strong, cohesive technology teams
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple high visibility technology transformations
• Strong collaboration with executive stakeholders
• Experience mentoring and growing technology leaders
• Direct experience using metrics (e.g., KPI's, OKR's) to measure and drive improvement
• Direct experience working with multiple vendors to integrate systems for seamless enterprise solutions
• 10+ years leading technology teams
