We believe that our Workplace Coordinator is one of our most important roles. You’ll deliver facilities and office support programs that enable Stripes to stay productive in a comfortable and enriching environment. Stripe is growing rapidly, and this team has exciting work ahead laying the foundation on which our Workplace scales.

You'll:

  • Greet visitors to Stripe and ensure they're properly checked in
  • Provide visitors with an excellent experience—connecting them with wifi info, offering refreshments, answering questions, and arranging transportation for candidates after their interviews
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and building management; maintain best in class service whether issues are resolved in house or by one of our partners
  • Support space planning, office expansions, and layout changes as required; coordinate move logistics
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service levels and process efficiency
  • Assist with shipping, mail delivery, sorting, storage, and notification systems, as well as our UPS/USPS/FedEx relationships
  • Act as a point of contact for Stripes seeking help navigating all aspects of their workplace; both in-person and by email/Slack
  • Assist with Stripe's front lobby experience, ensuring guests and employees have a positive, productive and functional office environment
  • Collaborate with our Events, Recruiting, and Security teams to uphold visitor policies, while ensuring an excellent experience for all visitors and Stripes
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Ensure prompt and positive responses to office incidents and requests
  • Ensure new hires have clean, functional workstations on day one
  • Take on light handyman work and physical labor as needed

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Professional and level-headed, with a great sense of humor
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Warm, outgoing and customer-oriented
  • Extremely organized and a skilled multi-tasker
  • Self-driven and creative in coming up with solutions and processes improvements

You should have:

  • Experience in a Facilities or Office Services role, ideally supporting a high growth workplace
  • Working knowledge of building systems
  • An orientation toward rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, with a knack for solving problems and spotting inefficiencies
  • A driving need to deliver the best possible experience—you may have been called a perfectionist once or twice
