Job Description:

Review and make formal assessments on alerts resulting from governmental watchlist screening with a solid understanding of the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs watch list screening and review of real time and post-transactional alerts for potential violations of governmental sanctions regulations.

  • Identifies alerts that warrant additional due diligence and escalates accordingly with documented reasoning.

  • Ensures aforementioned alerts are handled in accordance with defined policies and procedures.

  • Reports watchlist screening results to the client by compiling various reports and other documentation.

  • Performs quality control reviews of completed work to ensure alerts were decided according to the client’s established policies and procedures.

Requirement:

  • The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least two (2) years of experience in a professional work environment.

  • Undergraduate degree in a job-relevant field and/or formal training in such a field preferred. 

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree and/or training.

  • Preferred experience in watch list screening in a banking or financial services environment.

  • Must have a technical proficiency being able to learn new software and hardware systems experience quickly.

  • Must have strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently with a strong attention to detail.
