About the Role

As the Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our partnership strategy across all partner types. You will own the partner lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to activation and ongoing engagement—ensuring mutual value creation and measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships & Events, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, enablement, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Ownership

  • Refine the partnership strategy in alignment with marketing and business goals.

  • Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities that drive brand visibility, lead generation, and product growth.

  • Evolve a scalable partner framework and tiering model (Co-Marketing, Referral, Technology).

  • Learn and apply our Partnership strategy to leverage the right partners at the right level for the highest results.

Partner Acquisition & Enablement

  • Source, evaluate, and onboard new strategic partners.

  • Create and manage partner onboarding processes and resources to ensure fast ramp-up and alignment.

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success to align partners with internal teams.

Engagement & Program Execution

  • Own end-to-end partner relationship management—including regular check-ins, joint planning, and performance reviews.

  • Launch and manage co-marketing campaigns with partners (webinars, content, events, etc.).

  • Support referral partners with enablement materials, incentives, and performance tracking, in partnership with Sales Enablement and RevOps.

  • Support the creation of new and existing integrations with technology partners in collaboration with product/engineering.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define KPIs and dashboards to track the impact of partnerships across tiers.

  • Analyze and optimize partner engagement, pipeline contribution, and retention.

  • Report regularly on partner performance and opportunities to senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in partnerships, channel marketing, or business development—preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

  • Proven experience driving strategic partnerships from ideation through execution.

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales funnels.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams.

  • Analytical mindset with ability to track performance and drive decisions based on data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with partner marketing tools (PRM platforms, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Knowledge of integration partnerships or API-based collaboration.

  • Familiarity with referral program design or affiliate marketing models.

  • Experience in producing Partnership events.

  • Familiarity with the pet industry.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
