Position Summary 

Swiftly is looking for a hands-on product manager for our Cloud Register® platform team to assure continued growth of the Swiftly platform on both the feature and business levels. Successful candidates will balance the complexities of the retail and grocery space with their drive to deliver high impact platform API and SDK features to Swiftly’s internal team of developers as well as our retail customers’ development teams. 


Responsibilities Include

  • Define API and SDK requirements for Cloud Register® Platform components and document these in specifications 
  • Work with the platform engineering team to finalize specifications, get them ready for fast implementation and help respond to challenges as they arise 
  • Prioritize competing initiatives based on business impact across multiple customers in alignment with Swiftly’s OKRs 
  • Help prioritize the feature backlog to arrive at an ambitious, focused roadmap
  • Specify and oversee research needed to determine customer needs and desires 
  • Other related duties assigned 

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of industry experience managing or developing technical products with a focus on SDK, API, and developer experience
  • Clear, concise technical writing skills 
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to quickly understand and moderate difficult technical conversations to ensure product outcomes 
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams with varying priorities
  • Interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities 

Preferred Qualification

  • Have experience building and success launching and scaling platform APIs and SDKs either from an engineering or product perspective
