Are you passionate about maximizing results through testing and leveraging data to help scale a high-velocity business?

Full Beaker is looking for a data-driven Digital Optimization Analyst to work with our Mortgage vertical and Healthcare vertical. We’re in the business of helping users with complex decisions, and we're looking for someone who can help us quickly test, learn, and iterate to create a best-in-class user experience.

Our website provides tools and resources to guide consumers in critical decisions, from obtaining mortgages to finding jobs to selecting education opportunities. As a Digital Optimization Analyst, you will work with our product and engineering teams to build, manage, and execute on our testing roadmap with the goal of optimizing our products for both revenue and user experience. We aspire to provide users all the information they need to make informed decisions, and we want you to be a part of it!

What You Will Do:

  • Drive conversion optimization by executing A/B and multivariate tests in collaboration with product managers across our web properties.
  • Maintain optimization calendar and cadence, and communicate blockers, action items, and key results to stakeholders.
  • Work with product managers to define test hypotheses, parameters, and key results.
  • Create clear and detailed Jira tickets and proactively advocate for issue prioritization.
  • Partner with engineering to run smoke tests and troubleshoot prior to testing launches, and review all tests with a keen eye for detail.
  • Implement experiments utilizing testing software suite and ensure KPIs are measured accurately.
  • Analyze results thoroughly, and dive deep into data anomalies to find possible solutions. Share key learnings with stakeholders and advocate for future testing iterations based on data.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, project management, or related field.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and experience utilizing testing software (Google Optimize, Convert, or similar) and data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Heap, or similar).
  • Comfortable collecting and analyzing data and reporting on key learnings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and proactively communicate deliverables, timelines, and action items to stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn, and get the job done.

About Full Beaker:

Full Beaker is a small but mighty company that focuses on helping consumers make informed decisions. Today, our main focus is on helping people obtain or refinance mortgages, and helping nurses find jobs. We maintain a highly-collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to take initiative and own the solutions to the problems they identify. We believe in hiring smart people and supporting them while they do great things (in other words, we don't micromanage).

We provide full-time employees with full benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with available coverage for close family members. We also provide a matching 401(k) program, performance bonuses, 3 weeks of paid vacation, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, and a sick PTO policy that boils down to "don't come in until you feel better”.

Building on the continued strength of our core businesses, we are now expanding into new products. The foundations are already in place, but now the real work begins to build out profitable and sustainable businesses that continue our core mission. Your role will be central to achieving that goal.

Best Things About The Job:

  • You'll work in a safe and open environment with talented people who have a broad range of experience.
  • You'll enjoy freedom when building new things and improving our testing framework.
  • You'll be supported, but never micromanaged.
  • You'll be encouraged to learn: we provide a $1500 budget per year that covers books, courses, and conferences.

Things you should know:

COVID and temporary/permanent remote working. Due to COVID, Full Beaker’s Bellevue office has been closed since March 5, 2020, and everyone has been working remotely. Like most companies, we can’t say for sure when our office will reopen. However, when it does, we will be respectful of everyone’s individual situation and preferences. Subject to whatever social distancing/public health requirements are in place, people that want to work in the Bellevue office on a regular and frequent basis will be able to do so. However, if people want to work remote permanently and come into the office less frequently, that will be an option too. Like every company, we’ll need to establish some ground rules for how this will work and we haven’t worked out those details yet. If this is something of interest, please do ask about it during your interview. In summary, whilst our preference is for people to be in our Bellevue office when they can, permanent WFH is an option too.

Here’s what you can expect from our interview process:

You'll spend some time talking with our Head of Product, Product Managers, our CEO, and our founder. During those conversations, we'll be looking to assess whether you're a good cultural fit and that our values are aligned. We encourage you to come prepared with as many questions as possible to determine whether we're a good fit for you!

We will assess your ability to act independently and lead to the development of new products. This includes cross-team communication and collaboration, planning and organization, and the ability to move seamlessly from strategy down to the details

Our Company Values:

We want to make sure our company values are emulated by everyone at Full Beaker. You can read more about them at https://fullbeaker.com/values
