Your Impact
At Axon, we believe deeply in maximizing choice and flexibility for our customers through interoperability with their existing systems, enabling us to provide the highest level of value where we really shine - Digital Evidence Management. We want Axon Evidence to be the place where customers centralize all of their digital evidence, while providing highly coupled and interoperable applications and services that leverage digital evidence to improve agency efficiency and effectiveness.
As the Director of Product Management for our 3rd Party Ecosystem, you'll own a suite of API and SDK products that open up our digital evidence management system to our customers. You'll define our partnership and integration vision and
drive the end to end ecosystem strategy from requirements definition, through product planning and prioritization, and on to shipping the solutions that help us realize those aspirations.
Your North Star is to enable developers to integrate their software, devices and cloud solutions into the Axon Network, providing a frictionless experience to customers. Through these integrations, we'll enable powerful and efficient workflows that enable evidence ingestion, management and reporting seamlessly across multiple endpoints while giving officers time back to spend within their communities. This is the backbone of the modern police agency and is critical for their success.
This is a classic builder role - you'll go on ridealongs and conduct field research (i.e. watch cops catch criminals coupled with talking to IT admins) to understand what our law enforcement customers need from our solutions. You'll work closely with partners who have existing solutions in public safety that view Axon as a critical expansion partner. And lastly - You'll work every day with our core product team to ensure we're shipping the right stuff, in the right order, at the right time.
This role reports directly to the VP of Digital Evidence Management. Today Axon has over 100,000's of devices in the field with an evidence platform storing 120 petabytes of data. With more than 17,000 law enforcement agencies in 100+ countries around the world being part of the Axon network, we have proven that our technology is effective at enhancing law enforcement. That sounds big - but we have never forgotten where we started, and the scrappy, startup style pursuit of big goals combined with lots of hands on "maker time" gets us out of bed each day.
