About the Role:

Innovation is at the heart of all that we do at Dreambox. The Director of Product Management is a strategic role and a unique opportunity to be a part of a small and growing company at an pivotal time in the Education Technology Industry.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Be responsible for informing our strategy and vision for a set of new product initiatives
• You will be at the center of driving our innovation, product strategy and growth plan
• Manage and mentor a small but talented team of product managers
• Drive customer research and interact directly with students and learning guardians to design solutions
• Develop positioning and competitive strategy for our suite of products
• Collaborate with our UX, data science, engineering, teaching and sales & marketing teams to identify and design new innovations that benefit students and learning guardians
• Bring data and analytical rigor into decision making process
• Take ideas to execution and global markets
• Help develop the vision, chart the course of our overall business strategy for a growing suite of products
• Develop measurement metrics to measure business outcomes

What You Will Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MBA required
• 8+ years of leading and developing product strategy in mid to large scale companies
• Proven track record of launching products and building at scale
• 3+ years’ experience managing a team of product managers
• Experience in agile development with frequent (e.g., weekly) ship cycles
• A talent for building products that leverage data and analytics
• Super problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and focus the product and engineering teams on critical outcomes
• Excellent communication and cross team collaboration skills. Ability to work with broad set of stakeholders
• Articulate, develop and share product vision, and strong executive presence
• Experience in integrating multiple product suites and M&A a plus.
