Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Director, Product – Pet Health in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Pet Health, and will own all B2B services within the Pet Health space. We have a current suite of projects and new confidential innovations that you’ll own, end to end, to ensure seamless experiences that surprise and delight our pet partners. Our mission is to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents and pet partners everywhere, and your role will have huge impact and visibility as we grow into the pet health/pet partner space.



What You’ll Do:

  • Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for our pet health products
  • Partner with Recruiting to drive key hiring, which includes the ability to identify and close top talent
  • Help to cultivate and maintain a positive, inclusive and upbeat culture that brings out the best in people
  • Influence investment choices that will provide long-term innovation in the space
  • Build and lead teams of product managers and engineers; work cross functionally with designers, analysts, and marketers while playing a key role in organizing and communicating their work across the organization
  • Communicate product strategy and status to key stakeholders across Chewy
  • Play a strategic role in understanding marketplace trends to advance and grow our partnerships with pet health partners and pet parent through customers-first features and functionality


What You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years of overall experience; 8+ years of experience in leading technical teams
  • Significant track record building and leading high-performing product and engineering teams; experience leading leaders
  • Working in a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation in order to solve user needs within the domain
  • Experience owning B2B facing products and teams.
  • A track record of building high-impact products demonstrating measurable business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and retain top talent
  • Inspirational leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Capability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks
