What we’re looking for:

Transportation Tech is 15 years behind other evolved two-sided marketplaces like e-commerce or Ad-Tech. We are looking for a PM that can help us shrink that gap.

Are you passionate about working autonomously and being responsible for initiatives end-to-end? You will own the vision, roadmap, and execution of this effort, with the outcomes directly impacting Convoy's overarching strategy. To help you succeed, you will lead a "pod" that can consist of engineers, designers, data scientists, and others which will be embedded on your charter. You'll also be partnering closely with with operations, marketing, sales, and account management.

This is something that doesn't exist so we are looking for a Product Manager that is comfortable going from 0 to 1000: From blank slate and testing first MVPs to scaling at full speed during hyper growth.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Roadmap & Features: You will own the product roadmap for this initiative
• Strategy: You will identify the key strategy questions and drive to resolution and alignment with stakeholders
• Metrics & Experimentation: You will define metrics and goals to drive progress across the team in terms of day to day business as well as experiments

You have the following skills and experiences:

• PM experience: 8+ years of experience owning product roadmap for a breakthrough product through multiple iterations
• Experience working in 2 sided marketplaces in technology (ads, e-commerce, real estate, etc)
• Data-driven: Experience defining metrics and running experiments and testing. Comfortable writing own SQL and comfortable understanding ML
• Customer oriented: Works backward from customer and understands needs. Can generate empathy with consumer and business customers
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communicator
• Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science background

Bonus skills and experience:

• Experience in Transportation Tech
• Experience in IoT and intersection between hardware & software
