The Role

As Principal Technical Program Manager for SRE and Cloud Strategy, you drive strategy and execution to scale Outreach cloud architecture to meet future business needs, and product strategy to meet the unique infrastructure needs of some of the largest businesses in the world - all of whom have made Outreach a centerpiece of their sales execution.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Driving the platform infrastructure area for Outreach - defining the vision, cloud strategy, and roadmap for the area
  • Partnering with engineering to build and maintain a roadmap around our infrastructure to serve global and enterprise customers
  • Define and own the core metrics to measure uptime, security, performance and reliability
  • Lead product discovery and roadmap sessions with key stakeholders and customers
  • Partner with product marketing to develop enablement and positioning collateral to share around productized infrastructure offerings

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience building great products, including responsibilities driving prioritization, trade-offs, timelines and go-to-market
  • Deeply analytical, high EQ, curious and process oriented
  • Skilled at rapidly assessing a product landscape and synthesizing highest priority opportunities
  • Strong technical aptitude; deeply familiar with cloud native infrastructure, and cloud strategies for SaaS businesses at different stages of growth
  • Experience with security, privacy and regulatory compliance in the context of enterprise grade infrastructure
  • Outstanding people skills; can rally a team around a common product mission and elicit the best thinking from a diverse group of team members to define optimal solutions
  • Experience with driving vendor evaluations, build vs. buy decisions and contract negotiations
  • Ability to define long-term business strategy, and drive impact on short-term product goals
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
  • Strong skills around cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication
  • Ability to achieve clarity and drive focus in complex domains
  • Strong analytical abilities and prior experience with building business cases, data analysis, and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Built, managed and maintained a full technical product strategy in a B2B/SaaS application stack
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or related graduate degree preferred
