What we're looking for:

As a Principal Research Lead for our team, you'll be working every single day to empower our customers by bringing their needs into our strategy. While working with partners, you'll help determine product roadmap through rigorous investigation, focusing on areas requiring in-depth discovery. You'll build our research practice, develop methodologies that help grow Convoy's culture, and mentor others across the org in order to ensure the highest research standards.

You will have ownership of:

• Partnership with Design Leads, Product Managers, Engineering, and Data Science to uncover customer insights that help deliver exceptional product experiences
• Work in partnership with product teams on the highest impact ares for both customers and the business
• Development and evolution of methodologies used by the team
• Facilitation of research sessions and mentorship of team members on best practices

You have the following skills and experience:

• 10+ years of experience as a Product or UX Researcher
• Deep knowledge of research methodologies with an ability to apply process and synthesize results in areas of high ambiguity
• Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for telling engrossing stories
• Experience with research operations execution and cross-team mentorship
• Experience growing a team of researchers
• Knowledge of design practice, and ability to build early-stage UX deliverables
