The Store Experience team at Remitly is in charge of optimizing our on-boarding customer experience by driving a test and learn agenda. As a Product Analyst on the Store Experience team, you will own driving product insights and in our conversion funnel, with the goal of increasing healthy customer acquisition by increasing our new customer adoption rates and monthly active customers. You will provide a quantitative view of the performance of our customer acquisition funnel that results in actionable analysis. You will work with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers and UX designers to execute a test and learn agenda. You will propose hypotheses to improve our customer experience, design and analyze A/B tests. The quantitative insight you bring will have an out sized impact on the business.

To succeed in this role, you should be experienced in querying and manipulating data using a variety of tools. You have experience in designing and reading A/B experiments and are comfortable with basic statistical techniques. You communicate complex analysis clearly both written and orally and know how to summarize data for appropriate for you audience. You sweat the details and own your metrics. You constantly ask the why behind the numbers to derive actionable insights and not just report the metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to build data-backed cases that support upcoming features and experiments.
  • You’ll create, maintain, and communicate (non Excel-based) sustainable reports that help the organization act on information rather than just data.
  • You’ll lead a weekly metrics review with your team, presenting information that will be used across Engineering, Product Management, and Design.
  • You’ll set up and analyze A/B tests and provide comprehensive test writeups, including thoughtful and well-written recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/BI analyst role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience presenting data findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong SQL skills and experience
  • Experience with at least one statistical programming language. (R, Python, etc.)
  • Experience working at startups and/or large consumer internet/technology companies

Bonus Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field)
  • Background in finance and/or experience in financial planning and analysis a definite plus
  • Experience with data visualization and/or related tools (e.g. Tableau)
