In the Commercial Models and Pricing group you will be part of very dynamic and collaborative team that addresses a wide range of opportunities. As a PM Product Integration, you will lead standardization of licensing and telemetry across F5 product portfolio (including SW, SaaS and HW), architectural alignment between products and supporting IT systems, and integrity of user experience with fulfillment and reporting. Your role will be critical for the success of multi-year effort to provide unified commercial experience across F5 portfolio of products!

This role requires a solid understanding of product/IT systems interworking, ability to collaborate and synchronize across product and IT PMs, and strong product management skills. You can expect to be mentored and supported in your skill development and career growth by diverse group of experienced Product Management professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and drive Licensing Plugin roadmap. Collaborate with OCTO/Engineering Shared Services on design and coordinate capacity and timelines.
  • Coordinate and align roadmap alignment with individual product PMs. Work closely with IT development team.
  • Define and negotiate options with the business and technical partners.
  • Build, maintain, and prioritize backlog of features and epics and contribute to overall Commercial Models roadmap.
  • Own future Local Licensing Manager roadmap.
  • Work with Sales Operations, IT and other internal resources on operations design and improvements.
  • Build and deliver presentations to non-executive audiences.
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Solid PM skills including requirement definition, backlog prioritization, business case formulation, roadmap management.
  • Experience with SW product licensing, SaaS, and telemetry/reporting. Exposure or experience with IT operations, fulfillment, or sophisticated buying programs (like ELA) are a strong plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly, build consensus and interact effectively with teams-Product Management, cross-functional or vendor.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to zoom out while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience with ADO (Azure DevOps) and/or Jira product management tools are a plus.
  • Experience with SAFE Agile or other agile methods is a plus.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings).
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or another relevant field. MBA is plus.
  • 5+ years of licensing, pricing, sales, or equivalent.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint).
