System1 is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team to lead our website optimization efforts. We are a fast-growing and profitable company looking to scale our internal technology to keep pace with the business and become the industry standard in lead generation. This role will drive the roadmap, design, testing, and analysis for our lead generation publishing sites and their features. The ideal person is highly motivated, accustomed to a fast-paced environment, demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, and has a strong understanding of UI/UX, product analysis, and evolving business needs.

The Role You Will Have

Work with stakeholders and Product Managers to create and maintain a site optimization roadmap
Continually perform market research and competitive analysis to inform the product strategy
Collaborate with business, design, analytics, and engineering teams to build, test, iterate, optimize, and launch our applications in order to maximize revenue and profitability
Own the definition, tracking, and reporting of KPIs for site optimization
Have a deep understanding of product analysis and how to find the “why” behind numbers via additional quantitative and qualitative means
Responsible for team execution and delivery of stated milestones

What You Will Bring

3+ years of product management experience
Experience running A/B tests, leading post-launch optimizations, and evaluating results to find stories in the data
An understanding of trends in product design -- including interaction patterns for web and mobile
Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices
Ability to create wireframes / low-fi mockups to communicate and ideate a plus
Familiarity with SEO concepts and best practices
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and a grasp of website templating languages a plus
Previous AdTech/MarTech experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
The desire and willingness to collaborate

Mattick recently took a course through Coursera on machine learning, and the timing could not have been better. He was able to balance his work at System1 with assignments and studying, and now, he’s implementing what he learned on the job. Currently, he and the data science team are working on an algorithm to optimize System1’s advertising on a new network. Their custom-built machine learning infrastructure makes it easy to deploy new algorithms and track performance.

Because our infrastructure is built for our needs, we are able to iterate, make more complex models and adapt to future requests quickly. It’s very rewarding!
