We are looking for a Product Manager to provide sound leadership over our software product roadmap. Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and deep understanding of payments ecosystem are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and innovative payments solutions.

 

The person in this role will work within an engineering organization, is responsible for owning and driving the product roadmap, and making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

 

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Product Vision. Own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product as it matures, maintain a deep competitive awareness and think big around business opportunities worthy of investment.
  • Delivery Focus. Work hand in hand with the development team to launch new features which drive the improved merchant experience and meet business objectives.
  • Data Driven Decisions. develop business cases, test/implement solutions, prioritize competing opportunities, and translate feature requests into workable backlog items. 
  • Be your own CEO. Operate with significant autonomy to deliver results and achieve the goals and objectives of both your team and the broader organization.
  • Product Transparency. Create and automate reports and clearly communicate ideas to all stakeholders, including senior management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on product management experience,
  • 5+ years experience working in the payment industry with merchant/customer facing payments products,
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with leaders across the company and aid in alignment of your working teams,
  • Excellent analytical, research and project management skills,
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

 

Desired Experience

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization,
  • Knowledge of agile product development and Lean software development practices,
  • Experience with Web Services, cloud technologies,
  • Great track record of working with engineering, operations, and sales teams to define, build, and maintain highly-scalable, mission-critical systems: people want to work with you again.
