We are looking for a world-class Technical Product Manager to join DefinedData. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the entire organization to ensure that our B2B platform delights our users.

Across all business units we have a modern tech stack including sophisticated capabilities around data science, multivariate testing and personalization. We’re a highly collaborative, supportive team that values learning, feedback and continuous growth.

What will you do?

Lead the development and user experience of our transactional data marketplace.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, market and competitors by conducting market research, executing the voice of the customer function, and translating identified needs into product requirements and use-cases for our marketplace of datasets.
  • As the owner of your product(s), you’ll be responsible for wearing any and all hats. You will own your roadmap, measure performance, keep your pulse on the customer and stakeholders, anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and take acceptable risks to maximize the benefit for our customer and business
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, analysts, data scientists, and other internal partners to envision, build, and deliver experiences that impact thousands of talents.
  • Measure the impact of your initiatives and report performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Significant experience working in software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management (for example SaaS platforms, API experience, etc)
  • High level of tech fluency and experience with web technologies
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce platforms and online payment solutions
  • Experience running sprints with engineers (including off-shore)
  • Extensive experience collaborating with engineering, multiple stakeholder groups, communicating with diverse audiences, and balancing/negotiating priorities
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer focused innovation
  • Passion for building functional and engaging user experiences with a strong customer-centric focus
  • Will thrive in scale-up culture: Has a growth mindset, resilient, adaptable, and curious.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
