Product Owner, Remote

As a Product Owner on the DEX team, you are a key member on our journey to evolve our employee and manager digital experience . You will represent the voice of the customer and the organization through the delivery of business value.
With support from a more senior Product Owner, you will work closely with key business and technology stakeholders to define and prioritize features and stories, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals. You'll work to understand customers` problems in detail and ensure that the squad/team is focused on delivering value.
You will also partner with members of IT to understand the technologies within your portfolio and the part that they play contributing to the overall end-user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple products that vary from low to medium degrees of strategy, scope, and complexity.
- Contribute to the creation of product vision and alignment with strategic priorities. Build squad/team product roadmaps based on strategy and ongoing input from stakeholders. Communicate product and portfolio vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and squads/teams. Monitor and maintain product health, supporting long-term product viability and efficiency, balancing long and short term and costs with desired outcomes. Analyze feasibility, cost of delay ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential changes to the product.
- Own and maintain product backlogs, being accountable for content, prioritization, and acceptance criteria. Accountable for clear, actionable user stories. Set priorities and actively participate in squad/team quarterly planning. Set expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities and communicate value to be delivered in each iteration based on squad/team capacity.
- Participate in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies. Work daily with squad/team to clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks, communicate, and support alignment around product strategy. Contribute to aligning development and business goals and priorities while working with stakeholders and squad/team to remove roadblocks to execution.
- Understand regulatory, compliance, and other industry constraints on the products and prioritize accordingly. Negotiate with immediate squads/teams to ensure priorities are aligned in a portfolio.
Please note: This is a remote opportunity with compensation dependent on candidate's geographic location, overall experience, and skill level.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management as typically acquired through a Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.) and a minimum of 2 to 4 years direct experience with agile teams as well as 5 years in business, technology, or consulting.
- Demonstrated experience with various technologies and systems.
- Able to depict complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences; strong communication skills and ability to educate SBU/department(s) on business vision and plan and the impact of change.
- Able to make difficult and quick decisions daily.
- Problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solutions and progress.
- Experimental mindset to drive innovation amongst uncertainty.
