About the Role


As a Senior Director of Product Management at Highspot, you will be responsible for setting direction and execution of the product strategy to drive exceptional customer experiences and impactful business results. You will be joining the PM Leadership team working closely with key stakeholders to define product strategy, build roadmaps and lead our product development efforts. Your area of ownership -- Training & Coaching -- is the newest pillar of Highspot’s sales enablement platform. First launched in the fall of 2020, Highspot Training and Coaching is a native Learning Management System (LMS), to help sales reps master the knowledge and skills needed to be the best in the industry.  You will help us build a world-class team of product managers, inspire, lead and grow them to invent the future of sales enablement here at Highspot. You will be joining a team with a well-respected culture of product and design and you will work closely with the Design, Research and the Engineering team. You will be key to helping shape and grow not only the product, but also the team and company culture.

What You'll Do

  • You will own and drive the overall product strategy and roadmap for a large surface area of the Highspot product, and contribute to the overall product strategy. 
  • You will inspire, motivate and grow a team of amazing product managers, helping them do their best work. 
  • You will have excellent customer empathy working directly with customers and partnering with stakeholders like our services team to elevate customer experiences. 
  • You will effectively collaborate with key partners like design, research, engineering, marketing and customer success to ship new features that our customers love. 
  • You will be data driven to identify opportunities and evaluate the success of our efforts. 
  • You will understand our strategic and competitive position and deliver better than anyone in the industry. 
  • Help drive the Product Management practice and culture, both in how we work and the design of the org.
  • You will, even as a leader, be--at least initially--shipping features.

Your Background

  • You have been a proven leader leading and growing product management teams for 4+ years
  • You have been building software products for some time and have 7+ years of experience shipping products as a PM IC or manager in an agile/scrum/kanban environment. 
  • You focus on user problems and with your attention to detail, build solutions with top quality that delight customers. 
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and change and can process the information, define the strategy and deliver results at scale. 
  • You are excellent at verbal and written communication skills and use it to articulate the vision, drive clarity and influence at all levels including team members, stakeholders, execs, partners and customers. 
  • You’ll be partnering deeply with the other PM leaders helping drive cross-team execution of end-to-end products.
  • You are technically proficient and will be able to work directly with senior engineers to get their buy in. 
  • You have a passion for learning and corporate education; professional experience with the development of education technology is beneficial, but not required.

Location

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
