Our mission is to protect life.

We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER device to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with the state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.

It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.

Your Impact:

As a member of our Axon Evidence team, you will work with customers and our customer facing teams to understand market needs and prioritize efforts to improve our products, solve customer problems, and enhance the day-to-day experience. You’ll work closely with our Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Account Management teams to define, develop and launch product improvements and new features. Your ability to incorporate customer feedback, establish goals, collaborate, and guide the teams are the keys to your success in delivering a high performing and reliable, best-in-class Digital Evidence Management Platform.

This is a classic builder role - you'll go on ridealongs and conduct field research (i.e. watch cops catch criminals) to understand what our law enforcement users need from their systems, and you'll also work every day with our core product team to ensure we're shipping the right stuff, in the right order, at the right time. You'll own defining your product's vision, its roadmap, and how to approach and develop various capabilities as the product is built, and you'll be integrally involved in the building of the rest of the team.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead a team focused on enhancing the capabilities of Axon Evidence to support various workflows
  • Serve as an expert in the marketplace, competitive landscape, technology, and drive this expertise into product requirements.
  • Spend time with our customers (remotely and in the field) to inform our road map and ensure what we’re building will work for them and meet their needs.
  • Manage trade-offs and priorities to ensure we are delivering products at the right time.
  • Define and analyze metrics that guide team performance and system success.
  • Work with your counterpart PMs across our software team, as well as cross-discipline with engineering, design and sales to bring the right products to life with the right feature set.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams, both locally and internationally.
  • Work collaboratively with account management, sales, and other customer facing teams to collect customer feedback on issues to drive resolution.
  • Coordinate product pricing and other go-to-market activities including sales training, marketing and customer messaging.
  • Release, monitor the success of your products through metrics and customer feedback, and iterate.

  • Ability to successfully lead and communicate with a cross-functional and remote team, as well as engage directly with our customers in the field
  • Willingness to travel on a fluctuating basis.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study and/or an MBA
