Groupon’s booking team is looking for a rock star product manager to build mobile and web consumer experiences that enable consumers to seamlessly purchase services from local businesses. This is a unique opportunity to be a big part of a the very few green spaces left on the internet - local e-commerce.

 

As a PM on the booking team, you will own figuring out customer needs, enhancing the existing product to improve key metrics and defining entirely new experiences that differentiate our product from competitors. You will touch all aspects of the product, design, technology, sales and operations, across mobile and web. You will have a broad range of responsibilities, and will have direct accountability to global business and product metrics.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, margins and new lines of business. Present business cases for such opportunities; get alignment on roadmap and priority.

  • Distill your strategic vision into concrete requirements, and ship iterative releases with the biggest bang-for-the-buck.

  • Execute the product development with your engineering and design teams, come up with timelines, manage to such timelines, call out risks, manage dependencies, and deliver on time with high quality.

  • Work with development teams, business leaders, operations, finance and other product managers to launch and support business impacting features and programs.

  • Present measures of success, rinse and repeat.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience as a product manager

  • Experience with Consumer Experience/UI

  • Experience working in e-commerce is big plus.

  • Experience and passion in building engaging user experiences (mobile and web)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Be particular about data, ability to pull their own data, analyze for value, present opportunity.

  • Ability to take smart, informed risks and lean into problems and their solutions.
