“Getaways” is the travel vertical of Groupon and one of the key businesses within the company. We are a small group of people building the end-to-end Getaways product – from the user experience (mobile apps, web) for consumers to user experience for our lodging partners to internal operations tools. Although we are already a billion-dollar global business, we have only scratched the surface and we have a tremendous opportunity ahead of us.

We are looking for a Product Manager with strong technical skills and business savvy to build inspiring products for Getaways customers. You will be responsible for driving product strategy and vision, relationships with customers and partners, working with teams from around the company to deliver breakthrough products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Help develop the overall product strategy, informed by customer and market insights, competitive landscape, technical capability, and internal initiatives/assets.

  • Build a rolling product roadmap based on the product strategy

  • Lead the business during the full product lifecycle – from requirements definition, to delivery, to end of life – collaborating with teams across the company

  • Establish business metrics and key customer/market research questions, and work with market research (or build your own process) to gather key customer insights to inform optimization or new product development.

  • Be passionate of the overall customer experience, putting their needs first in the definition of requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in Product with a record of successful software project delivery.

  • Applying your expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to understand how users interact with Groupon's offerings

  • Quantifying new opportunities to inform and prioritize product roadmaps

  • Reviewing product performance, advising on areas of opportunity, and analyzing A/B testing and other experimental data to measure the impact of new features

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL.

  • Interest and passion for data, product development and e-commerce

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
