As a part of Groupon’s Product team, our Product Managers are the glue holding our business and technology strategy goals together. We use a variety of different technologies and development practices to liaise and build groundbreaking local commerce products used by millions of people. You’ll have a healthy mix of both business-driving and technical leadership responsibilities, allowing you the autonomy to be both analytical and creative.
 

As a Senior Product Manager for Mobile, you will delight customers by giving them a frictionless, compelling and personalized experience when they use the Groupon mobile app. Since Groupon is now a “mobile-most” company, this role has high visibility and is critical to the success of the company. You will be responsible for defining and delivering on KPIs related to engagement and purchase behavior. You’ll work hand in hand with talented engineers, designers, and user researchers to define new data-driven features that help Groupon users enjoy deals on the best things to eat, see and do.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

• Own the end-to-end product vision and strategy and drive execution for your area

• Identify and seize opportunities to improve our customer experience, our product and business value

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand new feature needs, building out the road map and vision and defining how those features work and how customers will use those features

• Work with business partners to write designs for features through understanding other teams' needs

• Launch your ideas and build out features that go live in our mobile app to reach 100’s of millions of users

• Monitor, measure, and track progress and performance, and analyze ways in which we can continuously improve our customer experience and business performance from features launched
   

We’re excited about you if you meet the following requirements:

• BS Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field

• 5+ years relevant industry experience; including at least 3 years in Product Management

• You’re a self-starter who can execute in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

• Ability to work collaboratively in an environment that promotes constant team communication

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present your ideas vision, and your plans to everyone and anyone

• You have an excellent understanding of product development and how web and mobile technologies work

• You have strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills

• You can call the shots and enjoy leading changes

• A plus if you have MBA, or MS or PhD in Computer Science

• A big plus if you have prior Mobile Product experience
