Our mission is to protect life.

We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER device to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with the state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.

It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.

Your Impact

We believe the best ideas should win and have the resources and channels to make them come to life. We care about the work, not our titles, and we make decisions that are meritocratic and driven by data and our customers. We need passionate and intelligent problem-solvers to join our team in Seattle.

We are the leaders in a body-worn camera market that is exploding in growth. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own definition and development of key customer experiences for our connected platform and services. Our Axon Aware platform and services offers connected devices and sensors a way to integrate seamlessly to drive intelligence to the right people in real-time. You'll craft the vision and lead the team to develop next generation software services, mobile apps, and customer experiences on various platforms.

This is an empowered creator and influencer role - you'll visit and talk with public safety agencies, go on ride-alongs, and conduct field research to understand what our customers need from their systems. You'll work every day with our product teams to ensure we're shipping the right stuff, in the right order, at the right time, and most importantly, that it works. You will be the champion of your squad of builder and creators to execute and deliver. We are looking for energetic critical thinkers that are not afraid of making decisions or failing, rather they are motivated by feedback and delivering value to our customers.

Your Day to Day

  • Visit and communicate directly with our customers to understand their needs and workflows
  • Synthesize customer requirements and rationalize against our company strategy into actionable plans for your products
  • Define the strategy and drive the execution of software experiences for connected devices and sensors and situational awareness
  • Work with your counterpart PMs in other teams, as well as cross-discipline with engineering, design and sales to bring the right products to life with the right feature set
  • Coordinate product pricing and other go-to-market activities including sales training, marketing and customer messaging
  • Release, monitor the success of your products through metrics and customer feedback, and iterate.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully lead a cross-functional team as well as engage directly with customers
  • BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of Product or Program Management experience with connected hardware/sensors, IoT, mobile devices, or cloud apps
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, creativity in finding ways to generate and use data to make decisions
  • Great instincts on how to make the right trade-offs, when there is a lack of qualitative or quantitative data

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary and 401K with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Robust parental leave policy
  • An award-winning office/working environment
  • Ride along with real police officers in real life situations, see them use technology, get inspired
  • Access to leadership that provide candid feedback and excellent mentorship opportunities

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
