Senior Product Manager, Segmentation
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking an Senior Product Manager to lead customer segmentation in the content platform team in our Boston, Seattle, or Minneapolis office. The team mission is to make Chewy the most trusted and convenient online destination for pet parents by providing pet parents with the most relevant and dynamically targeted content in an optimized way. You will own the segmentation platform and work with a team of data scientists to define and develop ML-based segments and capabilities that will shape customers’ experience as they browse through Chewy’s site and apps. You will own a roadmap and will collaborate with Data Science, engineering, business and other product teams to identify use cases and scale customer segmentation across Chewy.
What You’ll Do:
- In this high impact role, you will have the opportunity to shape and improve customer experience across the site by providing the capabilities to deliver relevant and helpful content
- Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for segmentation capabilities across Chewy.
- Use your customer first mindset to deeply understand Chewy’s customer base to guide the development of customer segments and segmentation capabilities.
- Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and superior communication skills; be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- Cultivate and maintain a positive, inclusive, and upbeat culture that brings out the best in people.
- Monitor performance of your product(s) and measure impact of product enhancements; communicate impact clearly across the organization and use to drive prioritization.
- Communicate product strategy and status to key stakeholders across Chewy.
What You’ll Need:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or similar discipline
- 6+ years of experience, 3+ in eCommerce/Adtech/Marketing product management.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, deliver, and scale high-impact products or services for eCommerce or B2C channels that deliver measurable customer & business benefit.
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
- Experience in working on ML-driven products.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, people-oriented attitude
- A history of owning, developing, and communicating long-term vision and goals that drive strategies for a portfolio of products
- A proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and to effectively prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to evaluate risks and make data-driven decisions independently
- Position may require travel
