Senior Product Manager, Services Marketplace
The ecosystem of Cloud Services is growing rapidly, and developers now have many options to choose from. Unfortunately, many of these services don’t work together seamlessly, and managing them separately leads to challenging LiveOps experiences.
As a product manager for Services Marketplace, your goal will be to design workflows to discover services (ours and our partners), build strategies for prioritizing and integrating partner services, and work directly with partner teams to ensure the core platform tools and services enable the best possible integrated user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assemble the product roadmap and product requirements from multiple sources (e.g. market trends, developer feedback, usability, competitive assessment, sales, customer interaction), by understanding both current and future customer and partner needs.
- Work with UX/UI designers to develop workflow diagrams, storyboards and wireframes.
- Communicate product plans upwards to align strategies before development starts.
- Build business cases and analytical insights for strategic partner opportunities; define frameworks for the broader company to leverage.
- Establish strategies for evaluating and integrating strategic partners, and manage these relationships throughout the process.
- Collaborate closely with other services teams (e.g. cloud, monetization) to align vision for seamless experiences.
Requirements
- Experience with strategic partnerships, business strategies, and defining product requirements
- Experience in creating alignment in cross-discipline and cross-organization teams
- Strong expertise in business strategy and using datasets to drive strategic decisions for a set of products, tools, or services
- Ability to work autonomously with globally distributed teams and partners
- Knowledge and ability to effectively discuss UX requirements with engineers and designers
- High degree of comfort with C-level communications and problem solving
- Demonstrate the success of a product and tradeoffs from multiple angles (i.e. business goals, user goals, technology goals)
Bonus Points
- Experience in a Product Management role, especially in the full product lifecycle - from initiation to launch and ongoing improvements
- Experience in developing customer-facing or partner-facing content
- Knowledge and experience in platform development and integrations
