System1 is looking for a highly motivated, data-driven, creative, and persistent Senior Product Manager to join our product team. In this role, you will play a key part in defining and implementing the vision and roadmap of our lead generation products.

You’ll work collaboratively to develop best in class products by solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment. The ideal person is highly motivated, demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, and has a strong understanding of product analysis and how to evolve a lead generation business.

The Role You Will Have

Develop a deep understanding of your different users (both internal and external) to build and evolve products that meet their needs
Agility to grow different products to support the business - consoles, end user sites, and tooling
Be a subject matter expert in the lead generation space to stay ahead of competition and identify new opportunities
Lead new product development initiatives though competitive and user research, business case development, scoping, and all phases of the product development lifecycle
Lead cross-functional teams, serving as product and project manager, to define detailed product specifications, establish milestones, and manage the development, implementation, and evolution of features
Develop written requirements, user stories and assist in creating/validating mockups, managing their iteration through the design and testing process
Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to increasingly complex business or technical problems
Ensure quality assurance testing is performed prior to go-live launch of new features
Define and monitor product and business KPIs to support the product and business objectives

What You Will Bring

5+ years of product management experience
Expert in leveraging data to gather user and product insights: SQL, Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Search Console (or other data visualization tools)
Great attention to detail, delivering production ready features with high standards
Excellent business acumen
Ability to balance short term and long term goals
Self-motivated individual with entrepreneurial passion
Proven creative problem solving and innovative mindset
Strong collaborator who is incredibly solutions oriented

Mattick recently took a course through Coursera on machine learning, and the timing could not have been better. He was able to balance his work at System1 with assignments and studying, and now, he’s implementing what he learned on the job. Currently, he and the data science team are working on an algorithm to optimize System1’s advertising on a new network. Their custom-built machine learning infrastructure makes it easy to deploy new algorithms and track performance.

Because our infrastructure is built for our needs, we are able to iterate, make more complex models and adapt to future requests quickly. It’s very rewarding!
