You will be part of a key team responsible for defining product direction in a fast-growing venture-backed company, and partner with an extremely talented technical team to bring game-changing technology to an ever increasing enterprise customer base. You will also communicate with, and work alongside, IT leadership from Fortune 2000 companies to solve today's toughest problems in IT management. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Management team leads on key inbound product initiatives
  • Experience working within Security, Cloud, Big Data and/or Analytics verticals
  • Document inbound product enhancement requests from the field
  • Follow-up with customers and prospects directly regarding product feedback
  • Identify key use cases required to close product gaps
  • Collaborate within the Product Management team on writing functional and technical specifications
  • Work with the Product Development team on further defining requirements as part of an iterative development process
  • Conduct technical assessments of competitive and partner solutions
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis
  • Support the business development team on build/partner/buy decisions
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
  • At least one year of product management experience with an enterprise-facing product
  • Knowledge of components comprising enterprise IT applications, such as 3-tier architecture, web services, and so forth
  • Comfort communicating about syste-ms-level and user-interface product development efforts
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to track a large number of tasks and work on many different parallel initiatives with competing priorities
  • Excellent writing skills, with the comfort and desire to create product collateral, as needed
  • Ability to build rapport with enterprise IT professionals in person and over the phone
  • Knowledge of network-communications concepts, such as the OSI communication model and common L7 wire protocols
  • Experience in enterprise IT consulting or enterprise IT sales engineering
  • Experience in IT management or performance management market
  • Experience with appliance-based solutions
  • Support the business development team on build/partner/buy decisions
