Come join the Global Cloud Services team and work with a talented group of people building our next generation Observability and data logging platform for our internal needs. Within Global Cloud Services, his team is responsible for the ensuring that data from Servicenow’s’ infrastructure across the world can be utilized effectively for better decision making.
What you get to do in this role:
We're looking for a passionate, driven Senior/ Product Manager who can help us define product vision/ thought leadership and strategy to launch/ build Observability and Cloud data logging products for our internal employees in various business groups like Data Center Operations or Technical Customer support. A product manager who can define and track KPIs focused on product and feature adoption, drive roadmap priorities to define and deliver features (based on target personas) working with internal engineering teams (spread geographically). The product manager will be the spokesperson for our Data logging and Observability initiative within the Servicenow and help with the adoption of our Data logging solution (internal enablement). The individual in this role will write technical product updates as needed. As a Product manager, you will work on solving tough data logging related challenges in a high energy, startup like environment with experienced industry leaders and with a highly collaborative team.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience in product management focused on data logging/ observability
- 3 plus years’ experience in a SaaS company and/or Cloud Infrastructure automation space
- Strong experience in scoping and defining requirements for Data logging solutions/ platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a distributed team across the world
- Exposure to new technologies like Containers, Machine Learning or Big Data will be an advantage
- Familiarity with Elastic Stack is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. CS, CSE, EE) or relevant work experience in development, solutions architecture, or pre-sales engineering
- Any product manager experience with external customers will be a plus
