The Role
As a Senior Business Process Analyst (BPA) you will be a key member of the Strategic Product and Platform Operations team. This is a small but mighty team that supports the Chief Product Officer in driving operational excellence within our Product, Design, and Technology organization. The visibility and exposure of this role is rare, and the candidate will develop a deep strategic understanding of the ServiceNow business and its full product suite. This role is extraordinarily collaborative, providing an opportunity for the right candidate to establish strong relationships with a broad set of leaders within the Product and Engineering organizations.
In this role you will perform and implement process improvement initiatives across the product organization. The BPA will work closely with the business stakeholders to drive strategy execution through designing new business models; streamlining and reengineering existing business processes and providing support to change management.
You must have excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, operational rigor, strong leadership, and attention to detail. You must have the ability to view all activities from an ecosystem lens to drive results, proven experience with cross functional collaboration and demonstrated effective impact / influence. The successful candidate is passionate about delivering value and someone who is uncompromising in the delivery of high-quality results. Responsibilities
Provide a proactive, strategic perspective on improvements to the business, SDLC or infrastructure processes
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
- Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
- Simplify complex issues into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
- Measures performance against process requirements.
- Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
- Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- Host regular release meetings & executive read-outs; deliver crisp status updates to all stakeholders and senior leadership
- Travel: Up to 25% annually
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience
- 8 + years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner, Consultant or technical Product Analyst in a commercial software product company
- Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, Quality Standards, and Best Practices
- Mindset capable of both strategic and operation thinking
- Strong ability to influence and set direction
- The ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
- The ability to make trade-off decisions between possible and desirable, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible
- Exceptional understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies
- The discipline to focus on high leverage activities, i.e., being good at saying “no” or “not now”
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences as well as communicating effectively with highly technical and knowledgeable audiences.
- Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines
- 7iComfortable facing new challenges, ambiguity, and changes in direction.

A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
