IllFonic seeks an Associate Producer to join our team of talented game developers. The Associate Producer works with other production staff to deliver goals on a specific game project. The role requires the Associate Producer to help manage schedules via JIRA, facilitate meetings between developers, and remove roadblocks as they come up. Associate Producers will also need to be able to communicate up to other production staff various problems that arise and mitigation plans.

Founded in 2007, IllFonic (IllFonic, LLC) is an independent video game developer with studios in Golden, Colorado; Tacoma, Washington; and Austin, Texas. Our staff is composed of video game, music, and technology veterans redefining how games are made and marketed. Titles and collaborations include Predator: Hunting Grounds, Friday the 13th: The Game, Dead Alliance, Star Citizen, Evolve, Armored Warfare, and Nexuiz.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the production team and various development disciplines in schedule meetings, define meeting agendas, record and distribute notes and action items.
  • Assist the production team and various departments in entering and tracking tasks and bugs.
  • Assist the production teams to build and develop JIRA workflows based on input from various teams.
  • Assist the production team and development teams to maintain a list of software and hardware needs from various teams.
  • Keep a wide range of documents up to date with information as it changes.
  • Help the production teams by communicating risks to the schedule, as well as help to create mitigation plans to offset risks.
  • Assist production team by removing roadblocks that prevent developers from doing their job.
  • Communicate out daily tasks, goals, and status to the entire IllFonic team.
  • Communicate the status of the project up to senior management.
  • Communicate out completed work and work with QA and/or department Leads to vet that work.
  • Regularly playtest builds and provide professional feedback to the team on how to improve our games.
  • Share your thoughts about how to make the company a better place to work, improve the creative process, and help deliver better games.

Requirements:

  • Previous production experience and launched game experience a bonus
  • Experience with the following software; JIRA, MS Office Suite, and Google Suite
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with strong people skills
  • Fast learner, resourceful and computer savvy
  • Analytical thinker that can identify and break down complex problems to communicate them up.
  • Project Management Training / Agile Training and Certificates a bonus
