Business Program Manager
The Business Program Manager manages & leads the development of business requirements and specifications, plans and leads projects or a series of projects under a program. The Business Program Manager is the primary business interface to the business owners and technology teams. The Business Program Manager helps drive the development vision, assists in helping set priorities with their Director. Works with the corresponding Product Owners, Program Managers and other appropriate resources to support our business priorities and projects. Directly manages multiple projects simultaneously, including business requirements development, scheduling and coordination with the business, resource and time management for Finance and Business tasks. They are champions of end-to-end process and technology changes within a specified transaction process area aimed at achieving optimization.
What You'll Do:
- Develops and assists with the execution of optimized project strategies; including shaping best practices, tool enhancements and driving an effective control environment
- Identifies and removes sources of resistance by acting as a liaison across organizational boundaries
- Manages and executes end-to-end process improvement initiatives
- Develops and refines key business metrics and drive robust analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities, while evaluating possible alternatives and recommending appropriate actions across Global shared services teams;
- Uses trending and benchmarking analysis to drive initiatives that result in more efficient use of resources
- Represents the finance shared services organization in cross group projects and new initiatives, ensuring that business proposals and changes to existing processes are covered by appropriate policies, align with global process strategy and have sound internal controls in place
- Acts as a master data steward; develops and implements strategy, process and reporting to manage master data
- Develops and communicates requirements for finance system enhancement
What You'll Need:
- Experienced & Professional
- 5+ years project/program management or business operations experience
- College degree required
- Experience within the finance department of a large global organization
- Experience implementing or configuring Oracle or similar ERP system strongly preferred
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and practices and financial process controls
- A can-do positive attitude – good judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, patience, and professionalism in all transactions and interactions

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- PMP preferred
