Your role and impact

 

We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Commercial Sales Program Manager. You are passionate about supporting our Sales team and clients, acting as their voice and advocate throughout the organization. You are someone who loves to build, create and optimize as we continue to scale our commercial team. This role will be operationally focused with direct client and partner interaction to support internal sales strategy and performance in alignment with leadership.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive deal tracker, partnering with the Sales team to strategize on complex deals and complete executive-level briefs
  • Communicate customer needs to internal teams and work with stakeholders to implement strategies, initiatives and programs to address those needs
  • Align business requirements with contractual terms for standard and non-standard deals across markets; work closely with Legal and Finance to relentlessly improve contracts, resources and approved/preferred negotiation tactics and deal structure 
  • Facilitate cross-functional resolution of commercial contracting issues by liaising with internal resources to align on/help address issues that arise during negotiations
  • Partner with the Product and Engineering teams on new client requests, ensuring that the appropriate information is submitted and a timeline is established that matches the client’s expectations
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on new product offerings or market segments, align on go-to-market strategy and represent what the sales team needs to be successful
  • Adapt to new opportunities and ownership as business priorities shift and expand

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a high-tech B2B sales operations or program management role
  • Outstanding external and internal stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Highly motivated and autonomous; a self-starter who drives results
  • Knowledge of healthcare benefits, health systems, the healthcare industry and employee benefits; background in a health plan and/or benefits consulting a plus
