Our Marketing Channels team includes paid, earned, and owned channels overall management, including in-house media planning and buying. Collectively, our channels are responsible for fueling the business by driving customer acquisition and engagement and adopting key initiatives (e.g., new category or services launches, driving event registration) through our channels via campaigns & programs that we manage.


About the role:

As Community Program Manager within our Marketing Channels team, you will bridge the gap between the on and off-platform RealSelf communities, cultivating our relationships with our consumer users to significantly grow and further engage the RealSelf community. You are passionate about the RealSelf brand and modern beauty overall. In this unique and meaningful role, you will serve as a chief evangelist and constant connector of our community to represent their voices and create alignment across the consumer marketing team. This includes opportunities to involve them further and drive shared value regularly and strategically (e.g., new product or service launches and trials, research & insights, collaboration including events, converting key community members into affiliates). 

You understand what it takes to build a community, manage communities hands-on, and know how to drive forward initiatives to grow our vibrant community. 

The Community Program Manager who joins the team must be customer-obsessed (your bar is high, really high) and have a passion for the beauty and aesthetics category. In this role, you will:

  • Manage the development and execution of the RealSelf Ambassador Program (our community program name)
  • Develop the RealSelf community and drive engagement using existing tactics and creating new ways to accelerate engagement across channels
  • Manage and grow the RealSelf affiliate program (converting key community members into affiliates whereby they can potentially make money through RealSelf)
  • Partner with marketing team members, including social, email, content, and paid marketing, to find and highlight RealSelf community stories
  • Contribute to the development and activation of marketing campaigns
  • Directly engage users and drive overall community growth
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and advocate for greater efficiencies, best practices, and community-facing product improvements 
  • Provide reporting and updates about community engagement, size, and health
  • Coordinate influencer and affiliate agreements

About You: 

You are passionate about RealSelf, our mission, and our team, both internal and external employee engagement and communities. 

You may be the right fit if you have: 

  • 3-4 years of overall marketing program management experience, including a minimum of 1 year of community management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong ethic of collaboration
  • Ability to set challenging goals and deliver real, metrics-based results. 
  • Ability to prioritize the most important work, multi-tasking and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred


Other: A writing exercise will be required for selected candidates. A portfolio representing your work is welcome.


Travel: Occasional travel (


Work Environment:

This fully remote role is open to candidates in most states. Working remotely from a primary residence outside the United States is currently not permitted.
