Job Description

About the Team:

The Compensation Professional team at PayScale helps customers realize their compensation goals. Our mission is to educate customers on transparency and how to utilize software and data to identify, define, and build new compensation strategies and structures for their organizations. This team is a key ingredient to customer success and the work they do has an immediate impact. The team sits within the Professional Services division of PayScale’s Customer Success organization.

The Role:

Are you customer obsessed? Are you detail oriented, driven by data and focused on helping customers make pay decisions? Do you want to help change how people talk about compensation? In this role, you will work with customers to understand their business goals and advise them on their pay strategy.

You will also:

  • Help design and implement compensation guidelines in support of companies’ business objectives.
  • Coach customers on how to use their structure to make compensation decisions.
  • Provide reporting to help customers understand the results of their compensation plan.
  • Guide organizations to effectively communicate about compensation at every level, from executive to manager to staff.
  • Lead and guide strategic conversations among all levels of project partners on the customer’s internal team.

Qualifications

The Person:

The ideal individual for this opportunity brings the following to the table:

  • You love collaborating with customers to help them meet their goals; strengthening the link between compensation and results.
  • You understand compensation and the pieces that make up the whole.
  • You are an effective project manager with ability to multi-task and prioritize based on customer need.
  • You are capable of following a process, but also able to deal with ambiguity and recognize when to deviate to meet customers needs.
  • You can communicate effectively via email and phone/web conference with a variety of customer personas to meet project goals.
  • You are able to make recommendations based on data, utilizing Excel to show visualizations and analytics.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MS Office Suite experience
  • Project Management experience
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience
