The Customer Program Manager will act as an account liaison to customers all the way from Fortune 50 companies to series A startups across a range of verticals. You will blend your relationship management, communication, project management, product knowledge, and critical thinking skills to onboard and train customers, execute complex engagements, and maintain and grow client relationships.OctoML was founded by the creators of Apache TVM, a popular open-source compiler that transforms ML models into highly-efficient binary code optimized for specific hardware and model architectures. We are building the Octomizer, a cloud-based "TVM as a Service" product that enables developers to optimize and package their ML models through a modern web app as well as a rich API surface. • Plan, project manage, and track OctoML's customer engagements through intentional, cohesive communications internally and externally.
• Marry deep customer expertise with your knowledge of OctoML's products and capabilities to influence the product roadmap and identify expansion opportunities.
• Drive adoption by partnering with Sales Solutions Engineers to develop customized onboarding materials, provide training, and respond to support requests.
• Develop ways to understand and analyze customer engagement and contract health.
• Work cross functionally with product managers, engineering leads, and executives to execute contracts and prioritize new features.

Our ideal Customer Program Manager candidate will have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in the areas of analytics, consulting, program management, or developing and deploying technical solutions for customers.
• 3+ years experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders across an organization.
• A passion for delivering value to customers and genuine interest in developing expertise in the machine learning operations and infrastructure space.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to channel the customers' perspective.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to translate technical content for audiences from expert to generalist.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with machine learning concepts and the hardware vendor ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with the customer success tech stack, including Salesforce and tooling for onboarding, support and product feedback (eg. Jira, Intercom).
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as business, finance, economics, math, computer science, engineering, or statistics.
• Prior experience in a technical role (extra points!).
