An ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the inner workings of warehousing, distribution, and eCommerce fulfillment, and has experience with WMS and/or OMS and Transportations Management Systems (TMS).

As a Project Manager - Deployment reporting to the BSA Manager, you are an integral member of the Business Systems Analysis team and will be responsible for driving the successful deployment of software to end-users, primarily warehouse workers spanning numerous third-party (3P) distribution companies. This team partners closely with the Learning team, and as such you may be asked to familiarize yourself with the process for creating digital training as relates to our software.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing deployment groups for both warehouses and customers, identifying who in each group is affected by a software change, and updating groups based on performance and new users
  • Executing deployment and communication plans to release software to 1-100 warehouses depending on the applicability of the software
  • Develop relevant KPIs for each release regarding usage of feature and use metrics to drive adoption across the network; provide data throughout the deployment and summarize metrics in monthly business reviews
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing for launch collateral creation and distribution (videos, press releases, etc.)
  • Writing and maintaining technical documentation and assisting in creating training materials for logistics software projects.
  • Partner with Learning team/content specialist to ensure all software content is current/accurate
  • Executing configuration as needed for software enablement for specific use cases
  • Collecting and providing feedback to Tech when issues with the features being rolled out are discovered

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in distribution/fulfillment
  • 1+ years of experience interfacing between Engineering, Business, and Operations teams supporting a WMS and/or OMS
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams to achieve timelines and deliver meaningful solutions
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting on metrics to key stakeholders
  • A demonstrated ability to create, publish, and maintain technical documentation
  • Proven experience in iterative process improvement
  • Track record of working successfully in ambiguous environments while demonstrating a high degree of initiative
  • Experience working in G-Suite, warehouse management systems, and ability to pull data (SQL)
  • Travel of up to 25% will be required in post-COVID climate, as needed for large rollouts or pilot
  • Able to participate in on-call rotation to cover operational emergencies (typically 1-week on-call per quarter)
