Role Description

As a key member of the Internal Comms and Culture team, you play an integral role in shaping the employee experience at Dropbox. Your work will uplift company-wide events by delivering quality in-person, virtual, and hybrid events in a Virtual First environment. You will also be responsible for contributing to high-quality async communications moments, helping us reach our employees at the right time, in the right way, through the right channel.

You’ll be joining a “startup” within the established Internal Communications and Culture team that is responsible for reimagining the employee experience, creating high-quality content, and driving meaningful cultural change. Responsibilities

  • Program management: PM all company all hands, Quarterly Business Updates, Leadership offsites and other large-scale meetings and events. 
  • Work closely with key partners including the Dropbox technical events team, video production, design, and other internal stakeholders to create dynamic and compelling employee content
  • Support for internal events including creating briefing materials for presenters and executives, internal communications, and logistic management
  • Creative execution of async communications, such as async all hands, production of video content hosted on our company intranet, 99+, etc.
  • Brainstorm and push the envelope on new ways of storytelling and bringing to life the Dropbox culture

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to keep multiple workstreams running at the same time, working to tight deadlines, and handle curveballs with ease
  • Event management experience, including designing a run-of-show, creating briefing materials for stakeholders, and working across many stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective event. Experience in video or TV production a plus
  • Produce high-impact creative content for our key internal channels 
  • Excellent communications skills, written, verbal, and non-verbal 
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with many teams
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the business

In order to be successful in our Virtual First environment we needed to make changes that would allow employees to have more control over both where and how they work. Therefore, we embrace “non-linear workdays” with defined core collaboration hours that overlap across time zones.
