The Company You’ll Join

We live in a world where some people live on the equity stack and enjoy exponential wealth growth and preferential tax treatment; others live on the debt stack and may work their entire lives for a company and retire only with the cash they’ve managed to save from their paychecks. Our contribution to solving the wealth inequality problem is moving people from the debt stack (payroll) to the equity stack. By making it as easy to issue equity to employees as it is to put them on payroll, we can create more owners.

At Carta, we are helpful, transparent, fair, and kind. We are relentless executors, unconventional thinkers, and masters of our craft.

Reporting to the head of this team, you’ll partner closely with HR business partners, business leaders, function-specific learning teams, and employees to build a program that reflects and meets the unique needs of our organization.

The Problems You’ll Solve

Our business is complex. To execute on our vision, we need to be masters of our craft, develop stellar teams, and create an environment where all Cartans can do their best work. You will execute an industry-leading learning roadmap and make an impact on the organization in several critical capacities: as a strategic thought partner on learning initiatives, as a designer of in-house content and programs, as a project manager who drives end-to-end communication and execution, and as a facilitator of key internal programs. You will drive solutions on the following:

  • Understand and prioritize the most critical business needs and design global, scalable L&D strategies that support leadership development, career development, diversity and inclusion, and onboarding
  • Develop unique strategies to make learning stick, partnering with our people Insights team to design effective pilots, measurement strategies, and share success insights

  • Work with HR on creating innovative development strategies to support career development, helping to drive successful internal mobility
  • Create and deliver engaging learning experiences across multiple media and platforms
  • Develop efficient systems and processes for tracking budget, program participation, and program logistics in partnership with HR Operations
  • Work with our procurement and operations teams to identify and implement technology that challenges the traditional learning paradigm. Leverage tools and platforms that make learning fun and collaborative

The Impact You’ll Have

You will be the driving force behind building a growth-minded culture within Carta. The programs, content, and insights you deliver will be critical to making Carta a place where every employee feels they can grow in the ways that matter to them.

About You

  • You’ve demonstrated success in building, delivering, and measuring high-impact learning experiences to a diverse audience

  • You’re a skilled translator; you can effectively distill complex ideas into digestible, relevant content
