- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years experience - at least 3 years as a manager
- Track record of building and operationalizing scalable distributed systems
- Experience designing, building, integrating and supporting public APIs
- 3+ years of experience in leading complex, technically-challenging, cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery
- Exceptional technical architect with a penchant to design highly scalable web architectures using Java based stacks
- Passion for leading teams and setting the vision
- A technologist at heart and not shy of writing code if needed
