About the Role
As the Manager of Technical Project Management for the Product Platform pillar, you will fill a critical role on the Engineering Operations leadership team. In this role, you will help shape the resourcing, planning, and strategic vision for Highspot’s Product Platform feature area. You will also manage, inspire, grow, and develop a team of exceptional Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to support the growing needs of the Product Platform pillar. In addition, you will help evolve both the Engineering Operations team and the broader Product organization as Highspot continues to scale. At every step, you’ll embody Highspot’s commitment to building software with a spark of magic and you’ll hold everyone around you accountable to delivering on that promise.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of world-class TPMs to support the needs of the Marketing Website team, the DevOps team, and the crews within the Product Platform Pillar
- Function as a trusted project management and process evolution advisor who is capable of providing reliable data, guidance, and support at multiple levels — including your crew’s leadership team, your direct reports, the Product Platform Pillar Leads, and the Product Leadership Team
- Partner with your team and the rest of the Product Platform Pillar Leads to develop pillar-level rhythms and best practices for crew process, documentation, and collaboration
- Uphold and build upon Highspot’s culture, ensuring that Engineering is a welcoming, inclusive place, and that we not only meet our DE&I goals but lead Seattle’s tech industry with our commitment to diversity
- Be an unwavering partner and champion for your crew’s internal partner teams, including Services and Sales Engineering, by understanding their needs and helping to provide information, documentation, and support in a timely manner
- Determine the right key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor for the pillar, in alignment with our business objectives.
- Lead high-profile projects that cross all functions and levels
Your Background
- Minimum of 3 years in a Senior TPM role
- Minimum of 1 year in a people management role
- Proven success as a partner and collaborator who prioritizes the success of the team over individual aspirations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
- Deep understanding of the SDLC for SaaS applications
- Strong expertise in modern project management methodologies and software applications
- Proven ability to plan and execute complex, cross-team projects that meet or exceed their defined success criteria
- Ability to quickly develop relationships and to influence cross-team stakeholders
- An unwavering commitment to quality and a relentless attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment
