Marketing PMO Program Manager - Location Flexible
Role Description
The Marketing PMO Program Manager will be a thought partner reporting into the Marketing PMO Lead to help stand-up a PMO framework within the Marketing Organization. You will also partner closely with all of the key Marketing sub-functions to drive key initiatives and change across the org. You will work closely with these sub-functions to manage programs end-to-end to deliver results through planning requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Stand up a consistent and repeatable project management framework and cadence
- Secure process buy-in from key stakeholders and leadership
- Craft a tool-kit that can be deployed and shared across the Marketing organization - including teams that are not actively partnering with MSO
- Establish the use of project management tools (as needed)
- Design a feedback loop to ensure that both leadership and relevant teams stay in the know of progress, blockers, and results
- Oversee program management across Marketing’s sub-functions by managing schedules and delivery progress across strategic initiatives
- Coordinate resources and interdependencies across multiple projects and teams
- Navigate partner teams impartially with competing needs, with good reasoning and creative solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing projects/programs
- Experience in Program Management, ideally within Marketing with a deep understanding of Marketing’s sub-functions
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organization
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage programs and projects, and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA, or other advanced technical degree preferred
