The Junior Operations Financial Analyst for Pacific Fleet Aviation will serve as a key member of the Operations team and will report directly to the Sr. Operations Program Analyst of Strategic Flight Programs. The incumbent will have as his/her core responsibility the oversight to the organization's financial forecasting and supporting workflows of EagleView's Aviation teams. The successful candidate will serve as an advocate for the operational business units, while maintaining alignment to strategic goals identified on the organizational roadmap.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial forecasts for revenues, expenses, and cash flows
  • Builds, maintains and iterates financial forecasting models
  • Facilitates the financial planning process
  • Investigates, evaluates and communicates variances between actuals, forecast and plan
  • Identifies and implements system and process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of planning and reporting workflows
  • Identify potential strategic programs by conducting gap analyses, analyzing ROI, projecting costs and savings, and determining the impact on the Company's goals, investments, innovative strategy, quality, and safety
  • Partner with the project sponsors to create business cases for the procurement of resources necessary for program development
  • Monitor and communicate program performance, timeline, and budget; produce program status reports
  • Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and software to enhance safety, reporting capabilities, metrics analysis, and operational efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in an FP&A role or similar
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with a relational database and/or a data warehouse
  • Experience with metrics & KPIs
  • Experience using cloud-hosted tracking & reporting tools
  • Proven track record of accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience or familiarity with PowerBI, Miro, QuickBase, SalesForce, SharePoint, Office 365, Slack, SmartSheet, NetSuite, Concur, FlightDocs
  • Familiarity with Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies
